atrick Bebelaar is one of Germany's most renowned pianists and presents a wonderful recording on the grand piano of the Hospitalkirche in Schwäbisch Hall on 'How Insensitive'. His work has been honoured with numerous awards including the Baden-Württemberg Jazz Prize, the German Record Critics' Award and the New York City Jazzrecord Magazine Critics' Award.

"Patrick Bebelaar and Dominique Klatte [...] drew on the full range of resources on the day of the recording: piano art of the highest quality paired with a sound aesthetic of the nave, which is unrivalled in its authenticity. Of course, there are countless solo piano recordings on the market. Do we really need another one? Listening to the almost 30 minutes of music several times gives me a clear answer: an unconditional yes! Because the music is captivating, awakens curiosity about the next note or rhythm at every moment and leaves us with a sublime and solemn feeling of emotion after the last note has faded away." (Dr. Stephan von Clarmann)

Patrick Bebelaar, born in Trier in 1971, is one of Germany's most renowned pianists. In 2000 he was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Jazz Prize. His release Three Seasons (2014 with Günter Baby Sommer and Michel Godard) was voted “Album of the Year 2014” by The New York City Jazz Record.
