Звичайна ціна £1,195.95

Ondekoza - Fujiyama - Japanese Drum - Crystal Glass Disc CD
Ondekoza continually pursues greater means of expression through the use of taiko drums. By trimming the performance of all that is excessive, and playing to the limit of physical capabilities, Ondekoza believes that the sound of the drum alone is capable of striking a powerful impression. Ondekoza aims to create stage pieces that are enjoyable to children and adults alike.
Before each show, individual shime drums are tightened to the limit- a task requiring the synchronized strength of two members- in order to achieve the cutting sound that is representative of Ondekoza's style.

Ondekoza was formed in 1969 under the direction of its founder, Den Tagayasu. The group was created on the Japanese island of Sado, where a group of young men and women gathered to follow the ideals of Den Tagayasu. Since then Ondekoza has expanded across Japan and the rest of the world, popularizing taiko along the way. They are widely recognized as one of the groups to have set the groundwork for taiko as a performance art.

What is a Crystal Glass Disc CD?
Crystal disc, a Compact Disc using a glass substrate, is made to realize the sound quality which is 'equivalent' to the master sound source. For this purpose, Crystal disc is fabricated by Laser Disc technology cultivated over many years using the best-selected materials.
• The use of glass substrate instead of conventional polycarbonate substrate. As the reflective layer, gold is adopted in exchange for conventional aluminium.
• For pit transcription, a Photo Polymerization process (2P process) using a metal stamper is adopted. This process makes pit transcription highly precise compared with the conventional injection molding process. The technology of 2P process was cultivated by our production of test discs for calibrating industrial optimal pickup heads.
• Surface flatness of the glass substrate is much superior to the conventional CD. Glass substrate is hardly influenced by the variation of temperature and humidity. Furthermore, the absence of birefringence coming from the optical uniformity of the glass substrate realized a signal with extremely low noise and low jitter.
