Aco Bocina - Mediterranean Feeling [Audiophile Vinyl]
Звичайна ціна £59.95
This recording was made in 2004 in the Bibiena Theater in Mantua, known for its exceptional acoustics. Captivating and full of spontaneity, Aco Bocina, known as the world's best mandolinist, thrills the audience with Mediterranean sounds and - about Mozart's concert for the inauguration ceremony of this theatre in the 18th century - even with its famous "Little Night Music".
Aco Bocina began playing the guitar at the age of 9. His passion for the mandolin made him write and play music, so that at a young age he travelled Europe both as a soloist and as the first mandolinist of large orchestras. Bocina, who owns various rare mandolins and guitars, has released several albums over the years, worked on soundtracks for the documentary "Paralelo 24" and the film "El Soñador" in 2003 and 2004, and was awarded the "Libero Bovio" prize in 2016.

Recorded At Teatro Bibiena in Mantua
Recorded in Mantova, Italy, at Bibiena Theatre on 17th September 2004
Aco Bocina’s masterfully played mandolin recording was sourced from the “Direct From Original Master Source” series, and Neumann VMS 80, Neumann SX 74, the iconic Neumann SAL74B amplifier, and the famous Studer A80 tape machine were used. The brilliantly sounding songs flow with one-of-a-kind fluidity, and Bocina’s playing inspires an utterly persuasive theatrical encounter. Accompanied by the subtle yet ever-present Alberto Guareschi on double bass and the wizardry of Alberto Guareschi on fretless electric bass, this outstanding record was captured in 2004 at the Bibiena Theater in Mantua, Italy.
