Ellis Mano Band is a European blues-rock band, founded in 2016 by Chris Ellis and Edis Mano. Analogue music for music enthusiasts who love a mix of Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Blues, Americana, Southern Rock and Soul.
In Switzerland, the members of The Ellis Mano Band are not unlike the Wrecking Crew or the Funk Brothers; top-flight studio musicians and elites in the bigger-than-you’d-think Swiss music scene. But as they spent years supporting other artists, the members never got much time to make music of their own. Now, after a year-long collaboration, the formidable foursome has developed a set of searing rock and blues-inspired songs that make up their debut album Here and Now.
The project was born on a random late-night conversation between singer Chris Ellis and guitarist Edis Mano. in 2017. In various vocal groups, Chris Ellis was a regular on Swiss and German television and radio and on the summer open air concert scene. Edis Mano was a celebrity in his own right in the Balkans, where he filled stadiums as a youth, before backing all the top names in Switzerland. The two discovered that they share a love of American blues and Southern rock and hatched a plan to do a project of their own.

TAPE STORED “TAILS OUT” – REWIND IT BEFORE PLAYBACK: Before You Play The Tape: The Tape Is Tailed Out. Before playback please rewind the tape first. Tape should always be stored ‘tail-out’ to prevent print-through. Store the tape in a dry place. The ideal environment is between 15C-26″C (59’F-78’F) and Relative Humidity of 45%-70%. Keep away from any magnetic field such as speakers. Don't forget to clean and demagnetize the reel to reel tape recorder heads regularly, especially before playback for optimal frequency response.
