COMING SOON IN 2025: Harry Belafonte – Belafonte At Carnegie Hall [4xLPs One-Step 45rpm]
Harry Belafonte – Belafonte At Carnegie Hall (The Complete Concert)
It's time to go into more detail on Belafonte at Carnegie Hall. We all know that the original master is a 3-track tape from 1959. This tape can't go outside the USA.
In 1959 RCA did the stereo master tape too, and also this one can't go outside. So, what AudioNautes Recordings could do, at best, was to have access to one of the best 1959 Master Copy Tapes. Some months after the agreement for the licence AudioNautes Recordings got a GREAT copy of it. Do not be afraid of the copies between the production master and the 3-track one. To work on the session tape can be great but sometimes it's not the best idea. AudioNautes Recordings' master production tape copy is amazing, indeed. AudioNautes Recordings could not believe the quality sound.
Belafonte at Carnegie Hall is a live double album by Harry Belafonte issued by RCA Victor. It is the first of two Belafonte Carnegie Hall albums and was recorded on April 19 and April 20, 1959. The concerts were benefits for The New Lincoln School and Wiltwyck School, respectively.
