Secure loose tail-ends of the tape and protect valuable audio reel tape when storing the tape in an archival box.  Always store reel tape on end, not stacked on each other.

This is a gentle reusable tape, which will not leave a residue on magnetic reel tape or reel spool.  This professional quality hold-down tape is made to exacting standards: 2 mil polyester with a low tack silicon adhesive so it will not leave any residue and will not damage your tapes over time. Secure those loose ends and protect your valuable tapes when storing them. Always store your tapes on end, not stacked on top of each other.

The reel tape which is stored with leader tape and with the tail hold-down tape secured lasts longer, professional archival method handles master reel tape.
