The Four Seasons are probably one of the most frequently recorded classical works and this recording from 1992 has also been published several times.
The 2024 is the 30th anniversary: Vivaldi - Le Quattro Stagioni
First as a CD on the Swiss Divox label, then on LP by Cisco Music in the USA, then on hybrid SACD by First Impression Music, then as a remastered LP with direct metal mastering by Pauler Acoustics in Germany for Silk Road Music in Hong Kong. But anyone who thinks that the album can no longer be developed any further is mistaken.
The Four Seasons is a group of four violin concerti by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, each of which gives musical expression to a season of the year. These were composed around 1718 - 1720 when Vivaldi was the court chapel master in Mantua.
