"It’s been 10 years since I released my debut album, ABRA. Since then, I’ve explored a wide array of musical landscapes, from intimate solo performances to quartets, quintets, and big bands. With Interception, I am returning to the possibilities of a more traditional jazz quartet saxophone, piano, double bass, and drums while reflecting on the musical and personal journey I’ve experienced over these years.
This decade has taken me across borders, introduced me to incredible people, and exposed me to a world of music. All of these experiences have shaped me both musically and personally, and are woven into the music I wrote for this album.
