A close relative to the Accordion and Concertina the Bandoneon became popular in the 1890s in South America due to its perfect compatibility with the rhythm of the 'Tango'. Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla was an Argentine tango composer, bandoneon player, and arranger. His works revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed nuevo tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music.
Astor Piazzolla was one of the greatest Latin American composers ever. He pioneered a new, jazz-infused, dissonant and rhythmically complex tango. He also composed several classical works which incorporate tango elements, among them a tango opera, María de Buenos Aires, a ballet and pieces for orchestra, of which his masterpieces are Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and the Concerto for Bandoneón and Orchestra.

All About Ultimate High-Quality CD (UHQCD):
UHQCD stands for Ultimate High-Quality Compact Disk and is a joint development of the Japanese CD replication company Memory-Tech and the Audio Quality CD Company from Hong Kong. Unlike conventional CDs, UHQCDs are not pressed from polycarbonate, but rather cast from a photopolymer and cured with UV light. To protect the softer photopolymer from scratches, another layer of high-purity polycarbonate is applied. The combination results in significantly reduced reflection of the laser light inside the CD and an unrivalled precise edge transition between the pits and lands of the CD. UHQCDs are 100% compatible with normal CD players. Musically, the result is a sound that is strongly reminiscent of analogue master tapes.
Many years have passed since the birth of the Audio Compact Disc (CD) back in 1982. By use of High-Quality materials and a different manufacturing method, the definitive version of audiophile audio CD was born. Playable on any CD player, the Ultimate High-Quality CD greatly surpasses all previous CDs before it!
The Ultimate High-Quality CD (UHQCD): UHQCD is a radical change to the CD manufacturing process itself. The conventional wisdom about CD manufacturing, which had remained largely unchanged across the world for over 30 years, has been exhaustively questioned. Through this effort, the ultimate in quality was attained - a level of quality that is certainly impossible to achieve with existing CDs.
The Ultimate High-Quality CD was developed through an effort to improve audio quality by simply upgrading the materials used in ordinary CDs to higher quality materials. For the substrate, a high-transparency and high-fluidity polycarbonate (a type of plastic) of the type used for LCD panels was used, while for the reflective layer, low-cost, common aluminium was replaced with a unique and expensive alloy of high reflectivity.
Differences in manufacturing methods: Conventional CDs are produced using the technique of injection moulding to form "pits" of data on polycarbonate material. A metal plate on which "pits" representing audio source data are formed is used as a die. This is called the "stamper." Polycarbonate is melted at high temperatures and poured into the die to duplicate the pit patterns on the stamper.
This method is efficient because it enables high-speed production, but it does not enable accurate or complete duplication of the pits on the stamper. As a melted plastic, polycarbonate is inevitably viscous, so it cannot penetrate completely into every land and groove of the tiny pits of the stamper.
The Ultimate High-Quality CD photopolymer is used instead of polycarbonate to replicate the pits of the stamper. In their normal state, photopolymers are liquids, but one of their characteristic properties is that they harden when exposed to light of certain wavelengths. The advantage of this property, is that perfect replication of very finely detailed pits was achieved. Photopolymers in the liquid state can penetrate the tiniest corners of pits on the stamper so that the pattern of the pits is reproduced to an extremely high level of accuracy.
All UHQ-CD album titles come from analogue master reel tapes, not from a digital master. All of them from a copy of the original master tapes. All of them, analogue mastered, full and pure analogue pathway, then converted in a digital 16-44 format. The series has a gold hot stamp on the cover, that's why the code name is simply "Gold Series".
