Every December, High Fidelity in Poland publishes their list in "High Fidelity" with the Year Awards, a category dedicated to the best recordings to which awarded the BEST RECORDING Award.
Performers: Jarek Smetana, Bennie Maupin, Larry Goldings, Larry Koonse and Darek Oleszkiewicz. The musical material on this album comes from two different recording sessions that took place in Los Angeles in 2002 and 2005. Never appeared on reel tape before!
The album No Name Yet was prepared in 2019, along with the albums Hollywood Trio and Raindance, both mentioned albums are excellent.
The material contained therein comes from two different recording sessions that took place in 2002 and 2005, in Hollywood and Pasadena, respectively. The album was created in a slightly different way, although both were recorded on a multi-track analogue tape recorder. Hollywood Trio was pre-mixed in analogue in LA, at the Bakery Studio.
The copy is made from a Studer A807 Mk II tape recorder to an AEG-Telefunken M15A. The latter, when its first version, the M15, entered production in 1971, was considered the company's product with the best mechanism it had ever created. In 1977, the M15A version appeared with the same mechanics but improved electronics.
