The Pioneer RT-909 Reel Tape Recorder, an auto-reverse / auto repeat-playback stereo tape deck produced from 1979 until 1984, has 4 heads with reverse playback (erase, record and two playback).
WORLD'S GREATEST PIONEER RT-909
A closed-loop dual-capstan drive system isolated the tape at the heads from any external interference, which resulted in constant tape-to-head contact. Rack-mountable and designed to take 10½ ” reels, Pioneer also produced a non-auto reverse model, the RT-901.

Condition: The tape recorder has been restored and serviced to manufacture specifications, and the completely revised vintage machine is in good new technical working and visual condition for playback and recording music on open-reel tape. Inside and outside in Mint condition, heads and tape path in pristine working condition. All our tape recorders have been fully serviced, recapped and aligned, and the tape deck will be checked for working order with full video provided before shipment, and all owner and service manuals in pdf format provided. Extra images and videos for each tape recorder are available.
