BöE are Ewoud Van Eetwelde from Belgium, Charly Härtel from Cologne and Lisa Wilhelm from Stuttgart, who met in Stockholm in 2021 when the days got longer again. The love of spherical, airy sounds and simple melodies brought them together. An endless summer with balmy nights full of cozy guitar trio sounds.

Ewoud Van Eetvelde is a guitarist, multimedia artist and composer from Ghent (Belgium) / researches and performs with various ensembles and multimedia/VR/theatre productions / studied Nordic Jazz Master in Helsinki, Stockholm and Aarhus. 

Charly Härtel is a bassist and composer living in Cologne / studied in Mainz, Stockholm and Cologne / wrote and recorded several albums and EPs with various bands, including his 12-person Large Ensemble / is active in the jazz as well as the pop and rock scene. 

Lisa Wilhelm is a young drummer and composer from Stuttgart / studied in Dinkelsbühl, at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the Escola Superior de Música in Lisbon / was awarded the Soloist Prize of the Young German Jazz Prize in 2022.

The focus of this project is on the master tape. The tracks on these tapes cannot be heard in this quality on any other media. The exclusive recordings present various musicians from all areas of jazz and world music. Another nice effect is that Jazz On Vinyl benefits from the selection of special musicians. Many of the artists involved would like to release more pieces on vinyl and not just please a small circle of master tape lovers.
